Nutella Hot Chocolate

If you have ever been over to 51 Porter, you know that all three of us are gaga for Nutella. We utilize this hazelnut spread as much as we can! Now that winter is in full swing, frothy cups of deliciousness are always ready for the savoring! Barista Renee :) is eager and willing to serve you up a drink/teach you how to make some warm delights at the drop of a hat!

Ingredients:
1. Nutella (2 Tbsp)
2. 2% Milk (If you're watching the saturated fat, you can totally use skim for the majority of the milk, but try to use 1 or 2% for the foam!)
3. Cocoa Powder
4. *Milk frother* (The foam is key.)

Directions:
1. Spoon some gooey Nutella goodness into a large cappuccino/coffee cup and place in microwave for approximately 30 seconds or until it reaches a more liquid-like consistency.

2. Heat about 3/4 cup of milk (in a separate cup) for a little over a minute in the microwave and pour into the cup with the melted Nutella. Whisk milk and Nutella together, making sure to get the Nutella evenly distributed throughout the milk.

3. Frothing the milk is the next step. I like to add lots of foam to the hot chocolate, so 1/2 cup of milk should do the trick!

4. Once the milk is foamed, pour the white clouds over the warm chocolate milk, and lastly, as beauty is in detail and presentation, sprinkle the top with some cocoa powder.

5. And, finally, slowly sip and savor this sweet, chocolate-y drink... it will warm you heart and soul.

GREAT SUCCESS!
