Brussels Challenge #6: Exploring Local Ingredients - Chocolate Part Une

Cooking with local ingredients can be a challenge, especially when what’s local is not a palate favorite. Fortunately for me, one of my current local ingredients just happens to be extremely palatable, comes in a variety of flavors and forms, and is available on just about every corner…perhaps the ideal local ingredient…Belgian Chocolate. Let me show you how easy cooking with local ingredients can be. J

Exploring Local Ingredients - Belgian Chocolate Part Une: Fraises au Chocolate
Small strawberries drizzled with warm melted milk chocolate, both fresh from the nearby market makes the perfect summer dessert. The chocolate need not be expensive, for any Belgian variety is truly divine; it may be the milk from the grass-fed dairy cows, it may be the teeny variety of strawberries with their cool sweetness, or it might just be the fact that you're eating chocolate covered strawberries in Europe...

Ingredients:
-Belgian Chocolate (or any good chocolate)
-Strawberries
Directions:
Melt chocolate and drizzle chocolate over the strawberries (a spoon or fork works best). You could dip the strawberries as well and drizzle with another variety of chocolate (e.g., strawberries dipped in dark chocolate with a white chocolate drizzle).
