Fete de la Crepe

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cup milk
1 Tbs. oil
2 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt

Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in one bowl and whisk together.

2. Heat a small non-stick skillet (about 8-inches) over medium to high heat.

3. Pour about 1/4 cup of crepe batter into hot skillet (make sure it is enough to coat the pan in a thin layer), and quickly swirl the pan to coat the bottom.

4. Cook for about 20 seconds and begin scrapping down the edges of the pan with a wooden spoon or heat-proof spatula to loosen the crepe.

5. Take a peak at the bottom to see if the crepe is slightly golden, and if so...flip the loosened crepe over and cook for about 20 seconds longer.

To Serve:
We made a "crepe bar" and allowed guests to choose their own toppings including:
*Bananas with nutella
*Strawberries with nutella
*Lemon and Sugar
*...and the all-time classic....NUTELLA NUTELLA and more NUTELLA! :)

And the final flourish...a sprinkling of powdered sugar for good measure. Invite friends, laugh, and enjoy (...with nutella)!

  1. In order to flip the crepe more easily, you should use a special kind of skillet, designed exclusively for crepes. Edges of the pan are much smaller! it is also often made of cast-iron
here is a picture of real crepe skillet:http://www.scandi-vie.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/5e06319eda06f020e43594a9c230972d/f/i/file_83.jpg
